The Oscars 2012- the cast of Bridesmaids present three awards

The cast from Bridesmaids are up to present three awards. They’re waffling on about length, sizes and gosh who knows what else ;) Fun times. The first award they’re presenting is the Best Live Action Short Film, which goes to The Shore:

“Thanks this is my daughter the producer. I want to thank the Academy. Our little film was inspired by the people of Northern Ireland, who after thirty years of war sat down and negotiated peace.”

Next: Before presenting the Best Documentary (Short Subject) award, stars Rose Byrne and Melissa McCarthy called a shotgun down-down. Someone shouted something and the two shouted Scorsese and then down a shot of what looked like a vodka or something. They then presented the award to those involved in Saving Face:

“It’s more important that the Pakistani on this stage speaks and not me.”

“I just want to dedicate this award to all of those who are working on the ground in Pakistan. To all the women working on the ground in Pakistan, don’t give up on your dreams. This is for you.”

And lastly, Best Animated Short Film award goes to The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore.

William Joyce and Brandon Oldenburg. “Look we’re like these two swamp rats from Louisiana. We’re going to keep on trying. Thank you to the Academy, our families, our wives, the Academy and you guys. And THANK YOU”
