Watch: Zolani Mahola Get Up (Zambezia soundtrack)

Freshlyground‘s Zolani lends her voice to the soundtrack for the hugely successful animated feature film, Adventures of Zambezia. The song is called Get Up and you catch watch it above. You can also go and check out the film in any good Nu Metro theatre now. I plan to go and see it very soon. It looks fantastic and I do love me an animated film every now and then.

Just a side note, the soundtrack has been nominated for 2 Annie Awards, which is fantastic news. Congratulations to all involved!

2011 Oscars- The Lost Thing, Toy Story 3 win

Black Swan’s Mila Kunis and The Social Networks’ Justin Timberlake are up next to present the Best Animated Feature (Short film). The winners are Shaun Tan and Andrew Ruhemann for their work on “The Lost Thing”. “Wow this quite surreal”

And the Oscar for Best Animated Feature film goes to “Toy Story 3″ Lee Unkrich. “Oh boy. I cant believe I’m actually saying this, but thank you to the Academy.”

Moby on his new album, "Wait For Me"

International star, Moby has just released his new album called “Wait For Me”. Check out this animated video interview, as Moby and his friend, “Dog” discuss the new material. Jennifer Aniston shines at The Oscars

And so does Ange… It seems turning 40 has worked for Jennifer Aniston. The lovely actress, dressed by Valentino, presented at last night’s 81st Academy Awards, looking completely at ease and happy with her man John Mayer by her side. This is probably what most people weren’t hoping for. Instead if the rumour mill had it’s way there would’ve been a massive cat fight between Angelina and Jen, but no. When Jen presented the Best Animation Award and Best Animated Short Film alongside Jack Black, the cameras obviously cut to Brad and Angie, in the hopes of capturing something. Well the only the cameras got were the smiles and laughs from the couple, as Jack and Jen joked with each other on stage. Continue reading

The award was presented by the lovely Jennifer Aniston and her friend Mr Jack Black. The winner is Andrew Stanton for Wall-E

And for the Best Short Film (animated) the Oscar goes to Kunio Kato for La Maison en Petits Cubes.
