Big Brother tells Hannington to pack his bags
This just in, Big Brother has instructed Hannington to pack his bags and go. This in light of the physical altercation he had with South African housemate Lerato on Tuesday night. The two got into a heated argument and that evolved into a physical fight. Lerato was punched in the face and suffered a bleeding gum it’s believed. The issue caused a big stir outside the house, with the broadcaster coming under fire for deciding to leave the Ugandan housemate in the house. But Big Brother seems to have changed ‘his/her’ position saying, “After very careful consideration and consultation” – Hannington has been disqualified and evicted. ” Goodbye and good riddance. Yes sure it takes two to tango, but there is no place in a house or in greater society for a man who raises his hand to a woman. The end!
Here’s the official statement:
M-Net Statement: Big Brother All Stars
Big Brother All Stars is a reality television programme that is designed to contain 14 housemates in a house for 91 days under certain rules and regulations. In an incident late on Tuesday night (14 September) there was a breach of the Big Brother rules and M-Net and series producer Endemol have had to evaluate and consider the sanctions to be imposed for the breach of these rules.
In order to assist in providing these sanctions, M-Net and Endemol called in a psychologist to assess the situation and the individuals involved, to ensure fairness and that the best interests of the housemates were taken into consideration. The psychologist advised that an assessment of the housemates was required and a series of interviews was conducted in order to determine their mental and emotional state before Big Brother made public his decision on this matter.

Save South Africa’s Big Brother housemate, Lerato

This week the would-be lovers Tatiana and Munya were put up by the rest of their housemates as the two up for eviction in the Big Brother All Stars series. But because Tatiana is again head of house, she got to save herself and put one of her housemates on the chopping block. Who did she choose? South Africa’s Lerato. Urgh. She must have some beef with Lerato. It’s probably because Lerato is strong-willed, fun and a treat to Tati. I’m hoping Lerato doesn’t ‘go home’ aka to the barn, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see tonight. I dig Munya too so it’s a tough call. I’m behind #TeamLerato. I hope you are too
Yacob and Uti fight!
Yoh that was pretty intense. Yacob (Jack off) is a DB… I’m team Uti! Big Brother All Stars are getting fired up- and that’s with their food allowance still available. In light of last weekend’s mutiny and this argument, are these housemates about to give us some of the best entertainment on TV? I’d say so…
BBA: Uti, Sammi and Hannington up for Eviction
M-Net’s Big Brother All Stars season hasn’t been dull- at all. Apart from all the housemates being up for nomination last week; their mutiny against Biggie at the weekend and or course Big Brother’s eviction curveball, there were other surprises in store for the All Stars. Instead of seeing Tatiana and Kaone off, the two ‘evictees’ were sent right back into the house. So the big question, who of the housemates aren’t so popular this week? Well once all the nominations were in, it was Sammi, Uti and Tatiana who found themselves up for eviction. But because Tatiana is the head of house, she had the opportunity to swap herself with someone else- and that she did by putting Hannington up for eviction.
So who are you keeping in Africa’s most watched house? Get to http://bigbrotherafrica.dstv.com to find out more about how you can vote to save your favourite.
