The new video from Alicia Keys is out. It’s called Brand New Me and it’s taken off her number one album, Girl On Fire. Lovely track, beautiful video and damn Alicia how are them curls? Looking good indeed.

Finally, #Diamonds is out! Rihanna’s brand new video for the smash hit, Diamonds is out. It’s taken off her forthcoming album, Unapologetic, which is out in the next two weeks. Beautiful video. Love the song. Happiness on this Friday evening
Last week I got the opportunity to chat to Adam Lambert. The star is currently in London promoting his new album called Trespassing. It has already hit the number one spot in the USA and when you listen to the album, you’ll understand why it hit number one! I’ll have more on the album soon but for now have a listen to my interview below:
Check out the new Nandos advert. How do we fault the creatives involved in this? They’re pushing the boundaries again… Pardon the pun
In the right hand corner we have Nandos… and standing in the left at a whopping 6 foot and 300 pounds, ittttss Santam. These two brands have poked fun at one another this week in a series of web adverts. The result was that Santam challenged Nandos to donating food to the Joburg Children’s Home. Nandos rose to the occasion saying they would donate the food on Thursday (26 April) and that they would continue to do so for the rest of the year. Brilliant. They then released their web video response too. Have a look.
This is a great example of brand excellence and how quick the respective companies are to respond to one another. There is no time to waste anymore. Jump on the bandwagon the rest of you, this is how it must be done. BOOM! Plus the Joburg Children’s Home wins too, big up!
The beautiful Beyoncé is smiling! The star’s new album “4″ sold over 300 000 copies in its first week of release, making it the number one album in the US. This makes her only the second female to achieve this accolade (Britney Spears is the other star). My review of the album is coming along and I will get it done, I promise, but until then, check out the new video The Best Thing I Never Had. I love it! Beautiful Beyoncé!
SuperSport‘s search to find a female presenter who will join the boys in covering the Rucks and Mauls, talk about the penalty conversions, the scrums and the line-outs at this year’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand is done. A big congratulations goes out to Elma Smit who walked off with the title last night. She beat out thousands of other hopefuls to be crowned SuperSports Lady Rugga. Judges Darren Scott, Naas Botha, Ashley Hayden and Elana Afrika decided Elma was the ultimate Lady Rugga. Elma is no stranger to the industry. She is a presenter on music channel MK for a show called Studio 1. She also presented for this year’s Varsity Cup and she’s a 5FM DJ. In general, fans on the Facebook page said they were chuffed with her win:
Congratulations Elma. You were absolutely fantastic and a deserved winner. We are rooting for you all the way and can’t wait for your first broadcast. From the biggest SHARK supporter thi
I think Elma’s years of experience in this industry will be a huge advantage for her when she travels to World Cup in September. It’ll be hard work in that she not only has to deal with the fast-paced international press, the game itself along with all the players, coaches etc; the presenters on the channel who have been there for years and have their own knowledgeable opinions. We can get into the raw talent versus industry experience debate if we want. It’s an interesting debate we could chat about for a long time. Whatever your opinions are, Elma was the chosen one. Well done to her regardless.
