Last year I had the privilege of visiting the quaint and awesome town of Knysna as part of the build to the annual Knysna Festival. I had such a great time there and at that stage I said I’d go down this year for the actual festival. I thought let me get my running on and while I’m down there I could do the 21km. Unfortunately I wont be doing the run anymore, nor will I be heading down to Knysna, but next year it’s on. That’s for sure.
That aside, the festival is on and this year they’re going digital. The festival organisers have launched a very user-friendly app as part of Pick n Pay’s Goodness Campaign. The app has replaces the booklet and it is part of an ongoing effort to a paper-free festival. It can be downloaded on various devices including BlackBerry, Android, iPhones and iPads. The app provides all the necessary information needed to enjoy the festival and its various offering including directions, events, the festival schedule, news and competitions
