Things are about to get K, K, Krazy. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West (KimYe) are going to have a baby! The couple, who have been together since April are delighted with their news. In fact, it was Kanye who broke the news to his fans during a concert in Atlantic City last night. He said, ‘stop the music and make noise for my baby mama’.

It’s believed the reality star is about twelve weeks pregnant. Mazel Tov to them both.

2013 is going to be the year of the royal baby and the year of the royal Hollywood baby. Cue the best friends forever vibe!

Are you The Ultimate Braai Master?

Do you consider yourself to be an awesome braai-er? Have you got a dream of showing the rest of the nation how it is done? Well here’s your chance. SABC 3, Pick n Pay and Cooked in Africa films are looking for you.

The Ultimate Braai Master television show is the brainchild of Justin Bonello, who is famous for his bush cooking and culinary delights around the continent in the form of a few very successful TV shows. This show is will launch later this year and it will roll out as a 13-part reality TV show. Bonello will select fifteen teams that will consist of a Braai Master and a Braai Buddy. Those teams together with Bonello will be visiting 13 different locations, in a 52-day adventure. The winner stands a chance of pocketing R500 000, a car and of course the title of the “Ultimate Braai Master”.

Sounds great right? Well it will be, but it wont be a walk in the park as Bonello says. “To earn The Ultimate Braai Master title, teams will have to sign up for a 52 day road trip, during which time they’ll be expected to occasionally catch their own food, source their ingredients under the toughest conditions, and cook to a standard of culinary excellence that will thrill our judges and raise the bar on the kinds of meals that can be produced on an open fire.”

Keen. Well you need to:

-   Be a food lover who is slightly above average in the cooking department.

-   Be 18 years and older

-   Have a valid driver’s license.

You need to enter online at www.ultimatebraaimaster.com by no later than Monday, 27 April.

This is something I would love to enter; unfortunately my culinary skills are all that great. So you needn’t worry about me ;) Enter now good people!

Nandos is at it again

Gotta give it to Nandos! Always at the forefront of all things trendy, controversial and clever! Here is their latest ad campaign… You might recognise the format from a certain bank advert on television ;)

“Do you miss things? Overlook things that are right in front of you? No? Yes? Maybe? It’s part of the human condition – at least that’s what some Sir or another keeps banging on about.

Luckily, Nando’s new ad campaign is here to show you that the deliciousness is in the details. That, yes, Nando’s is about the best flame-grilled Peri-Peri chicken but that its menu has oh so many more mouthwatering options to choose from.

Don’t believe us? Click here to be convinced.”

Danny K gets engaged

A big congratulations and Mazeltov go out to singer Danny K and his now fiance Lisa Gundelfinger. The two announced their engagement yesterday. I’m friends with Danny’s dad, Gavin (Pappa K) on Facebook and so the news came up in my newsfeed this morning. Gavin said, “

“Our family is happy & proud to announce that Danny & Lisa are engaged. Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Congrats to the happy couple. Wishing them a lifetime of happiness, love and fond memories.

New Daughtry album details

I can’t believe it was almost a year ago that Chris Daughtry and the rest of the Daughtry band toured South Africa. It was one of my favourite concerts of last year and their music really does something to my soul. I’ve been a fan since day one and now our journey continues. Daughtry are set to release their new album this November. The album is called Break The Spell. It’ll be available for fans to buy and download on the 21st of November.  The new record will be released 5 years to the day from the release of their multi-platinum debut album in 2006.

According to the record label and the band, Break The Spell is a powerful collection of hooks and strong, rhythmic choruses that provide the perfect backdrop for frontman Chris Daughtry’s emotionally resonant voice. Every song was co-written by Chris with either one of his band-mates (guitarists Josh Steely ,  Brian Craddock and bassist Josh Paul) or collaborators such as Marti Frederiksen, Busbee and Bret James. Produced by Howard Benson, who worked on DAUGHTRY’S two previous chart-topping albums, Break The Spell allows the band room to grow musically while still maintaining its knack for distinctive, melodic pop-rock anthems.

Here is the tracklisting for the album:

1. Renegade
2. Crawling Back To You
3. Outta My Head
4. Start Of Something Good
5. Crazy
6. Break The Spell
7. We’re Not Gonna Fall
8. Gone Too Soon
9. Losing My Mind
10. Rescue Me
11. Louder Than Ever
12. Spaceship
