She might be nearing 70, but soul queen Aretha Franklin proved she still has what it takes to be in this industry. Not only did her performance at President Barack Obama’s inauguration prove that, but her fashion sense is still rocking too. Ladies are now eager to get their hands on replicas of the hat she wore to the event. You have to check this out. CNN has used this new technology called Photosynth. Basically what happens is this software creates 3D spaces from anyone’s 2D photos. So the news empire has been asking viewers/readers to send in their pictures from the inauguration. These photos have then, together with professional photos been ‘merged’ into what has become The Moment. You have to see this.. from all angles, see the moment Obama takes his presidential oath:

Barack Obama will be inaugurated as the 44th American president on Tuesday. To celebrate this historical event, an 18-track album has been assembled by Hidden Beach Recordings. Some of the artists you can expect to hear includes Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, Kanye West, Jill Scott, Adam Levine, Lionel Richie and John Legend.

The album was inspired by the grassroots movement created by Barack Obama’s historic presidential run, and his call for “Change:
