The Americans had their very own “Royal Wedding” this year, when Hollywood princess Kim Kardashian married her commoner BF, Kris Humphries. In the context he might be the commoner, but it turns out the two just didn’t have anything in common because Kim has filed for divorce. Yip, true story. The star, who married Humphries in August this year, has filed for divorce in the LA Superior Court this morning. The reason? The famous one… guess… “Irreconcilable differences”. Oy vey Kimmy.
In a statement released to E! Online earlier, the star said, “After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.” Fair enough that they’re splitting, but after 72 days of marriage, there’s bound to be a bigger reason. Stay tuned because the real reason will come out soon. Oh and if you’re in South Africa, we haven’t seen the wedding special from this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but when we eventually do, we’ll just have to watch knowing it’s all over.
