Pop superstar, Justin Bieber has spoken about the tragic incident in which a photographer was killed earlier in the week. It’s believed the paparrazo was trying to take pictures of the teen star in his Ferrari when he was struck by an oncoming car. He was rushed to hospital and later died in hospital.
While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim. Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves.
The sad thing about this is that Bieber wasn’t even there. There must come a time where the laws will change and the paps wont be allowed to snap them celebs, especially when they’re driving. Sad news, RIP to the deceased and my condolences go out to his family.
Lady Gaga can comfortably say she’s had a fantastic year… scooping several awards, collaborating with some of the biggest in the industry and of course sitting on top of several significant music charts! Are you a fan of Lady Gaga? Well then you’ll love the above video. It’s a medley of tracks like “Bad Romance,” “Just Dance” “Paparazzi” and “Poker Face” as performed by Sam Tsui on vocals and Kurt Schneider on guitar. It’s really impressive!!
So news making headlines here at the moment (as far as entertainment goes) Jude Law allegedly hit a lady photographer. A lady, Jude? What? Yip and The London Paper has the picture to prove it. It’s alleged that Jude was being followed by the paparazzi. As he was leaving the Automat restaurant in Mayfair, he’d obviously had enough and gave the lady pap a back hand. Harsha Gopal said, “I was the first one to take his picture when he turned up. After I’d taken a few I was starting to move away when I felt his hand come across my face, and then there was a push. It was really loud – there was a massive thud and my face is still stinging today.” Interesting… we all know that Chris Brown was wrong and is sorry for hitting Rihanna and most sensible men know it’s wrong to hit a woman (I Hope!). But we also know that the paparazzi are stalkers, invading the lives of Hollywood’s elite. So who’s right and who’s wrong in this situation? Your thoughts?
MEANWHILEAmy Winehouse is back in London… we haven’t seen a lot of Amy in the papers, until yesterday.
Wino has been accused of assaulting a fan last year. The Grammy winner claims she was “scared” and trying to get away from a “rude and mad” fan when the incident occured. The ‘victim’ Sherene Flash has a different take on it though. She claims that the assault was with “deliberate and unjustifiable violence” after she’d asked for a photgraph with the Rehab singer the woman asked to take a photograph. Winehouse told the City of Westminster Magistrate’s Court that ““I pushed her up, like away. I wanted her away from me,” but the prosecutor claims she appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or “some other substance” when she hit the dancer. All I hear is “They tried to make me go to rehab and I said No… No… No!” The trial continues today.
So last week a peeping-Tom by the name of Miranda Tozier-Robbins snuck into Ms Britney’s property. After staff of the estate realised she wasn’t a window washer, but in fact a trespasser, the aspiring star was arrested for trespassing. She’s now opened up to E! Entertainment in the video below, saying she knew Brit would be coming home for a show in LA, as part of her Circus tour. She is apparently interested in the paparazzi, film making fields… She also wants to be famous? So this lady needs to decide what side of the fence is she sitting on (so to speak)… Especially if she wants to be a star herself. What a whacko! See what she told E! News below:
For a 16-year-old, I think she’s got a great voice and her songwriters know what they’re doing. Her songs are very easy to listen to and very catchy. Now the song is called “Fly On The Wall” and I think Miley is obviously starting to learn about the importance of privacy, what with all her leaked naughty pictures and all. Come to think of it, the lyrical content of the song is very familiar to former pop-wreck, Britney Spears’ song “Piece Of Me”. Good song though!
