Olympus Has Fallen premiere in SA

 

The stars turned up in their numbers to be apart of the Olympus Has Fallen premiere. The red carpet event was held at the Zone in Rosebank, South Africa on Monday 8 April. Local celebs like Dineo Moeketsi, Boity, Stevel Marc, Francois Hougaard and Jen Su were joined by the stars of the film, Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart. Check out some of the pics above.

I was on the red carpet interviewing some of the biggest names in the game and while I waited for my chance, I snapped a few pics of the stars in attendance. The first ever MTV Africa Music Awards went down in Abuja, Nigeria last night and for it’s first time, I think it was good. The red carpet was on fire. Fans were going mad for the likes of DBanj and P-Square and media representatives from all over the globe were eager to get that perfect shot of some of the biggest stars on the continent. Stay tuned for the video highlights. The awards will go out next weekend across the entire MTV network and I think it was wiser to delay the show. It started out later than expected and with an event of this magnitude, from a production level there are bound to be a couple of problems, which included the actual sound in the velodrome. I couldn’t hear any of the acceptance speeches, Trevor Nelson or any of the other presenters, but I’m sure when the show goes out that will be fine. Continue reading
