Nelly Furtado releases Waiting For The Night

If you know me, you’ll know I love me some Nelly Furtado. Always have been a fan and always will be. Her new album didn’t do as well as I’m sure she and the label had hoped. At first I wasn’t sold on the new material, but I’ve grown to love the Spirit Indestructible. There are some great tracks on the album. The only one I don’t like is Parking Lot. It annoys me, but the rest I dig and I can tell that this is an album that she is really passionate about. So if you’re on the fence, grab a copy or a least a few of the singles…

The latest one she’s put out there is the one above. It’s called Waiting For The Night. Love the latin influence and black and white is always so effective. I like!

Posh, Kate Hudson welcome new babies

Congratulations go out to VictoriaPoshBeckham and Kate Hudson who gave birth to their new little bundles of joy over the weekend. Kate and fiance Matt Bellamy of Muse fame welcomed their healthy baby boy yesterday. This is their first child and Kate’s second. She has a 7 year-old Ryder from her previous marriage. Posh and her hubby David welcome their little rose among the thorns. Their baby girl was born earlier today. No word on the names of the babies yet but I’m expecting a different name from the Beckhams… who knows after the recent visit to Hollywood from the UK’s Royals Kate and Wills, maybe the new Hollywood babies will be named after the Duke and Duchess. Let’s see. Until then, congrats go out to the happy families!

UPDATE: Posh and Becks have named their little girl Harper Seven Beckham. Seven is unusual right? Well the number seven is believed to be a very lucky spiritual number. She was also born in the seventh month on the seventh day of the week. I actually like it. I think Harper is nice. To shorten the name might be a bit off, “Hi Harps how you darlin’” and you know the Brits don’t pronounce the letter “H” very well, “Ello Arps” haha. I’m kidding. I like it. Congrats to the happy Beckham family.

Royal pics so far

People on Twitter are chuffed with his attire. Respectable, humble and very future King of England like.
